CRIME ALERT

INCIDENT:     Payal Snatching
OCCURRED:    March/05 - Now, Between dusk and dawn
LOCATION:     Greenbelt Lake
UMDPS CASE #: 9--2--11
BRIEF DETAILS:

       While strolling along the lake appreciating cherry
blossoms, the victim was accosted by an Indian male
who lured her to the wooden benches by claiming to be
a Guru in the ancient "indian" art of psychic foot
reading (aka foot palmistry). The unsuspecting victim
closed her eyes and got lost in her reveries as the
suspect tickled her feet with a feather saying that he
was polishing them to see the lines better. A sudden
cessation in the gentle tickle made the victim open
her eyes. But, the suspect had vanished into  thin
air, and so had her precious Payal (anklet).  This is
the 420th incident of this nature in the recent month.
The suspect has since been spotted running furiously
at the lake, but always gets away! The victim provided
a detailed description to our artist, and the sketch
is attached below.

       Please help us identify this suspect before he claims
you as his next victim.
